Access Medical Cannabis Treatment in Australia
As of August 27th 2019, on our website, you can now book an initial screening with a patient co-ordinator from the Cannabis Access Clinics network who can assess your case and determine if you are eligible for medical cannabis treatment and an approved prescription!
To be eligible for medicinal cannabis and CBD Oil in Australia, patients must have a condition for which there is some evidence that medicinal cannabis helps. Patients must also have tried conventional treatments for that condition, and found them to be ineffective.
Patients in Australia who have been approved for medicinal cannabis use, suffer from a range of conditions including:
- Chronic Pain
- Cancer Pain
- Spinal Pain
- Chemotherapy Induced Nausea and Vomiting (CINV)
- Eating Disorders (Anorexia, Cachexia)
- Multiple Sclerosis
- Sleep Disorders
- Inflammatory Bowel Disease (Crohns, Colitis)
If you are unsure whether you qualify, book a short screening appointment here with a patient co-ordinator from Cannabis Access Clinics. They will assess your case to see if you may be a suitable candidate to a specialised doctor for medical cannabis treatment. After the initial screening, a doctor will assess your condition and make a decision about whether to apply for medicinal cannabis on your behalf.
